Top 5 Fragrances for Spring Summer 2015

As with each year, when we travel halfway through March the one picture dominating our mind is that of Spring season. From the frosty air we breathe to the scent of spring wafting through nature, the transformation is not only dramatic but also liberating. Spring does have a sensory influence over our choices especially in fashion and beauty. When it comes selecting the fragrance for the new season, it is a personal choice and not something you would go for just because it’s been written about. A fragrance has to blend well to complement your personality just as fashion. Some of the best fragrances of Spring/Summer 2015 are enlisted but do test if they really make you feel good or even express yourself on some level.

Misia by Chanel:
Coco fans have all consumed movies, articles and interviews through these years and know that her special bond with certain people in her life have left an indelible mark on her creativity and expression. Misia Sert and Coco Chanel shared a special friendship, tinged with curiosity. This curiosity is said to have cultivated Chanel’s taste for art and permeated every inch of it, providing Olivier Polge the brand new fragrance creator at Chanel, an inspiration for a new Exclusif. Misia launched in February this year and is Olivier’s first scent for the brand and he couldn’t have got a better debut than paying tribute to Misia. It is the perfume of choice this season if you are a Chanel loyalist.

Elie Saab Le Parfum’ Resort Collection:
Headed on the luxury spring holiday with your resort collection in tow, then why leave without a fragrance created for the very occasion. The designs by Elie Saab have always been the ultimate collection in every couture wardrobe and now Le Parfum story continues with the Resort Collection’s Eau de Toilette spray. The limited-edition fragrance, takes inspiration from the atmosphere of the French Riviera. It’s scent is elegant, glamorous and features a unique blend of fig, orange flower and cedar.

Burberry Brit Rhythm:
The Brit Sheer is a good fragrance and with spring season on its way, Burberry has the Brit Rhythm – a sensual, floral fragrance with an unexpected fruity twist. It is light and misty like a perfect spring/summer scent should be. Fresh top notes of orchard fruit, Sicilian lemon and orange open up to an intoxicating heart of Egyptian jasmine, lotus blossom and dewy lilac. Base notes of ambery woods, driftwood and musk give a sultry dry down.

Eau Plurielle by Diptyque:
That freshness of spring season begins with waking up to a misty fragrant morning, birds chirping and sunny day ahead and crisp warm linen thats comforting. Diptyque’s Eau Plurielle is a light mist that recalls the scent of fresh linen laid on a bed of ivy and Turkish roses held with seductive hesperidia, and the quiet strength of musk and wood. This could be the scent of choice for your bedroom and stay in dates.

Rose de Grasse by AERIN
Historically this is the ideal spring fragrance created from the rare Rose bloom in the French capital of perfumery – Grasse. Everybody in perfumery would tell you the significance of Rose de Grasse and how absolutely crucial it is to create the best suitable scent from this ultimate floral fragrance. Enhanced by Rose Otto Bulgarian and Rose Absolute, and given further depth by warming Musk, the scent has captured the flower’s symbolic status for femininity.
