Eyes Go Bold and Bright This Summer

As the days simmer and the beaches beckon onto their toasty sands, some of the bold and beautiful sunglasses are staring at us to be in our summer collection. One glance at the season’s new edition across brands and you know that going big, cat-eye, jungle, and bright is the trend. Of the many pieces, we have chosen the ones that we’d personally wear. While going for sunglasses it is recommended you get a suitable shape for your face as well as check the retailer you buy from since all brands get their pieces made from Luxottica the U.V filter and glass quality is taken care of however do choose a few sunglasses to go with all your looks for the season.

You don’t have to be a fashion genius to know that the hottest trend this season is Self Portrait’s collaboration with Le Specs. We got a glimpse and that was it to sell the collection to us. Every one of the 15 pieces in the collaborative collection is one of a kind. It is trendy yet sophisticated, bold yet fresh and youthful. Fendi is probably our usual suspect for favourites and this seasons their graphic shape cat-eye piece accentuated by sparkling triangular crystals at the corners caught our eye. Then there is Linda Farrow’s 70 chic oversized amber sunglasses which take us to MIU MIU’s Noir which is part acetate and part gold toned, inspired by 60s retro chic. Prada has a butterfly shaped gold toned oversized piece and year after year this one brand has us gushing over it. But if you wish to make a statement trust Thierry Lasry’s 80s inspired clear acetate piece with rainbow stripes as it is very young and fresh making heads turn.

Shop at Net-a-Porter for all the sunglasses we have enlisted.
